Expert 3 - Financial management - CAT II

General description of the position:
Expert in financial management of EU funds (financial management of funds, financial control, accounting and reporting)

Expert category:
Place of Performance - Cat. II (>6 years of experience)

Qualifications and skills required:
University degree with a minimum 3 years of studies attested by a diploma (i.e. Bachelor's degree), preferably in economics, law, finance, political science or public administration. In its absence 5 years of equivalent professional experience

General professional experience:
Minimum 6 years of post-graduate professional experience

Specific professional experience:
- Minimum 5 years of post-graduate professional experience in the field of financial management, control, reporting and accounting related to management and implementation of EU funds;
- Experience in at least one project in the provision of operational, hands-on assistance and trainings to the designated public authorities in relation to the management and implementation of EU funds;
- Experience in managing within the national bodies and institutions in the system for decentralised/ indirect management of EU funds is an advantage;
- Recent experience in the field of in IPA II/IPA III financial management is an advantage.

Language skills: At least C1 level in English
